As the sad news about Ulla’s passing spread through the scientific world, many colleagues and friends expressed their condolences, because both of your parents had a huge influence on all of us, not only scientifically, but in many ways also personally. jeg har lige fundet ud af at Ulla er ikke mere blandt os og nu har begge to, hun og Richard gået. jeg har meget gode minder af hende og Richard, i København, på Bornholm og på Rodos 1995 til 1998. Richard var min vejleder i mit studie. Jeg var heldig nok at få lov til at deltage i deres forskning på Rodos. De var også gode venner, selvom vi har ikke haft kontakt i de sidste 20 år.
